The name of this event was carefully chosen. It is a symposium rather than a conference because this is a gathering where like-minded people learn from each other. Participants share a love of the wilderness and a desire to work with the psyche and spirit. You will find a wealth of new information at the symposium and a fun, collaborative atmosphere.

Bringing together clinicians, wilderness guides, field instructors, program personnel, consultants, students, and university faculty to share specific skills through hands-on, experiential workshops, this event provides a forum for the exchange and development of ideas and allows for sharing among the varied professional areas of the field of wilderness therapy.

This year, the Symposium will be held at the Millennium Harvest House in the heart of Boulder Colorado. This beautiful hotel and conference center has indoor and outdoor workshop spaces, will allow us to meet and sleep in one place, and provides a more centralized area to network and relax.
